A fine place to stay. We really enjoyed our Lake Superior view. I would have appreciated more sustainability features at this property - real coffee mugs in the rooms, fewer disposable plates and cups at breakfast.

Very friendly staff. Pool floor was a bit slippery, but great size. Big hot tub too. Breakfast was good. Stayed on second floor, could hear people walking around on floor above us. Hotel was having some renovations done. Would stay here again.

The pool area is very nice & kid friendly. The stay was made easy traveling alone with several young children. The staff was above & beyond! Breakfast was amazing! & definitely was not expecting them to have almond milk!! as my one year old is lactose & traveling having to buy big jugs isn’t the easiest!! That was impressive & my kids LOVED the room (the room didn’t have a freezer in the fridge to refreeze my ice packs for his milk, so I was SO happy they had that in the morning for him as we checked in super late) overall the hotel and staff and stay was really nice! Highly recommend & definitely will be returning

Before our trip even happened the hotel staff called to let me know that the pool area would be closed for maintenance in case I wanted to make reservations elsewhere and I loved that, that was the first time a hotel has done that and I applaud the transparency. The staff was very nice and welcoming and my husband and I loved that the hotel was close to the orv trails. Overall our first trip to Munising was very enjoyable, unfortunately we didn't pick the best time because everything was still closed for the season but that just gives us more reason to come and stay at this hotel again during in season times.

Absolutely beautiful. My HAPPY PLACE 😊 Not crazy about the stairs from the parking lot. Might be safer to have metal handrails to avoid splinters. Didn't see handicap parking. My husband would need that. I am alone today.

Wonderful stay! Desk staff, did service staff & clean staff were all great! Loved the location, plus benefit of pool & hot tub. Breakfast had some gf options, which was super helpful! Really enjoyed our stay!

When I reviewed the amenities it stated there was a sauna. The sauna has been shut down for a while. Other than that, it was a beautiful hotel, great breakfast, amazing staff. Would return.

We liked that the pool and hot tub are very large. The snacks/food in the gift shop saved me with my STARVING 10 year old at 9pm. Our room was comfortable and clean and our kids loved that they had their own space. Hot breakfast at any hotel is where its at. Love it.

Nice view of Grand Island and the Pictured Rocks beyond it all set in Lake Superior. Parking is below property entrance with snowy steps to climb.

Very good place to stay.
Consistently a better than average property with excellent staff and well maintained rooms. Breakfast was limited, but well prepared. Only negative comment is parking. The property sits atop a hill and requires parking below and using stairs. There are handicapped parking spots near the entrance.
