Had a great stay. The train theme was fantastic. The staff was lovely and spoke some English which made things nice and easy for my group. It’s very walkable from the central train and there were some other close spots to get around.

Everything was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful and the room was very quaint and clean. Loved the personal extra touches like the Oktoberfest heart cookies on our pillows. Will definitely recommend to others and return if I get the chance.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Du Train. Clean modern rooms. Small (as you’d expect) and only things to make it better would have been a mini- fridge and AC.

Great location - convenient for taking the tram or subway to different parts of Munich, and easily walkable to city center. This room type is on an upper floor so you have a nice view and very little noise. No A/C, but there is a ceiling fan and the evenings are quite cool in late June/early July. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Wonderful and very quaint hotel is also stylish and unique. The rooms are small but very cozy and there is so much to do in Munich that you may not be in them that often. The best thing about this hotel though is it's amazing staff! They all are very helpful not only in regards to any issue that may concern the hotel, but also in information about sightseeing, public transport, popular venues, directions how to get to a desired location etc. Roxanna is the kindest and nicest person I encountered in Munich!

The young man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, yet a bit small. I didn't get the breakfast because it was almost $20, which is high.

Fun and quirky Munich hotel

This hotel has a very cute train theme. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The area right outside the hotel seems to be a party area, and was very loud. The breakfast was nice but pretty expensive for what was on offer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, but if youre on a budget, just walk to one of the many locsl places for breakfast.

It was mid summer in Munich and we discovered only in the hotel that it does not have ACs. In the description here on Expedia there is no a single word that the hotel does NOT have AC. It was 2 awful sleepless nights. Additionallly: the hotel is very outdated and its rating on Expedia does not fit to the reality.

Loved it!

The hotel is very quaint and in a great location. I especially loved the elevator. The staff was excellent! My only complaint with my stay was that there was no air conditioning and the window only opened a crack. Because it was summer, it was stifling hot.

Perfect location

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights during oktoberfest. Walking distance to the central train station, the oktoberfest area and old town is just a couple of minutes away. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.
