Great alternative to staying in Rockhampton

We booked a Cabin for one night on our week long road trip from Brisbane to Airlie Beach. The room was exactly what we expected and ideal for one night, which enabled us to explore Yeppoon, which we enjoyed after two quiet nights in Tin Can Bay and Agnes Waters. The highlight of our stay was our dinner at the Waterline Restaurant

The cabin was a good size. The cleaniness was ok abit of built up dust on the lights above the bed and in the exhaust fan in the bathroom. The park its self has various things for everyone including having a food van there and playing movies for the guests.

Standard Family Cabin, newly refurbished. Very well provisioned, nice quality linen. All sorted for self catering. Double bed and a set of bunks best suited to kids. Nice park with pool and jumping pillow. A couple of camp kitchens with great barbecues. Excellent staff that we interacted with.

We enjoyed our stay here as we used it for a home base for our tour out to Great Keppel Island. Nice and close to the Rosslyn Bay Marina and the Capricorn Forest for a walk. We didn’t go to the outdoor movie night, but that was a nice option. Staff were very helpful when we needed to change units quickly. The kitchen was especially nice for cooking.

The cabin was immaculately clean and so spacious. The shower was great and the bathroom was pretty big. The rooms and beds were wonderful and it was a very comfortable stay with the full kitchen. There's a lovely view from the front veranda and it was away from any noise or fuss. Downsides were - The pool and kids areas close at dark and don't open again until later in the morning (for kids who are up at 6). There was rubbish blowing around the park and it was overall a bit dirty with lots of things out of order or cordoned off. Overall we did enjoy our stay and will stay again.
