"We were surprised to learn that there was a $50.00 cash deposit for smoke free rooms. We got it back at checkout, but the fact there was one was not expected. There was lots of noise outside. While our room was a non-smoker room, folks smoked outside near the room, so smoke came into the room."

"The house was nice on the outside. The inside smelled like it used to be a bar. The old smoke smell and copious amounts of air fresheners to try to cover it up set off my wife’s asthma and we had to leave immediately. We were not even in the house for 5 minutes. The neighbors were having a loud party and this was 11pm when we got there expecting to find a quiet and clean home to lay our heads for the night. We ended up at the Hyatt a few miles away for 225 for the night with free breakfast. At least there we knew it was going to be clean, quiet and refundable if there was an issue. We contacted both the owner and VRBO and owner did not respond, VRBO told us sorry you are stuck with a place you can’t use. Do not rent here.. stinks, loud neighbors and will get stuck in a crappy situation."

"Upon entry to the home first impression was nicely remodeled older home brought up to date with modern features. The home was clean and temperature was perfect. I had contacted the host earlier and communication was swift and helpful. The home was located close to downtown venues. This made for a very pleasant and comfortable trip. We enjoyed our stay.
