Rug up for a toilet trip

All fine, except we were surprised by the shared bathroom situation. On the Hotels.com listing, the room is described as having a bathroom. Nowhere does the word 'shared' appear. We showed the staff, who were surprised, but there were no vacant rooms. The shared bathrooms were clean, but required a walk outside in +2C temperatures.

Very central to all shopping, restaurants etc. Clean and tidy. If your not worried about the noise on a Friday and Saturday night, which they do disclose when booking. its a good place to stay.

Old style charm

Very friendly hotel, wonderful service, close to town, beautiful aspect, spacious and clean. Beautiful food at the Chinese restaurant, great beer. Lovely to be able to have a drink and sit, under cover, on the footpath, and watch the world go by.

Good size room with all the necessary amenities. It was clean, neat and tidy. Good pub meals downstairs. Shared bathrooms are always an issue, but I knew that before I booked.
