A Peaceful Retreat

Quiet bliss

Our family loved our stay here. Our two kids aged 5 and 9 loved having space to run around and meet the animals here and next door, and the cottage had everything we could need - close enough to town for convenience but far enough that it’s peaceful and quiet, easy cooking and a lovely deck to watch the world go by

Family getaway

Our family enjoyed our time at the cottage, beautiful views, excellent location and decent cottage. Robyn and Darryl are wonderful hosts and were great with our kids providing them interactive activities with the animals. We left the property with new memories and sad to say goodbye. They’ll be the first to know when we return.

Yarrawonga Park Cottage

This cottage was amazing, we had a 2 night stay, and loved it. Cottage is in a quiet picturesque setting away from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, and comfortable, great native wildlife, only 10 minute drive to town. Brilliant wth nice personal touches such as toiletries, milk, tea, coffee, fresh eggs from the chooks, made our stay very pleasant!

Our peaceful week

Yarrawonga Cottage is modern, well equipped and attractively presented. Its rural setting with occasional kangaroos and flocks of rosella and cockatoo, magpies and butcher birds, is delightful. We enjoyed meeting the property's owners and their pets - a treat for guests!

Beautiful farm cottage

I stayed with my family at the cottage over Christmas and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is very nice and incredibly clean. The balcony has a lovely view and we enjoyed relaxing in the morning and evenings and watching the kangaroos and farm animals pass by. I would highly recommend this cottage for your Mudgee holiday.

Few properties have this impact on me during and after the stay. We loved everything! Hosts Robyn and Darryl were amazing! The cottage was so clean, and bright and spacious. The view from the balcony, and from every window is beautiful! We spent a lot of time at the cottage as it was so relaxing and peaceful. Robyn fed the animals, and this was a highlight. We loved all the animals, they are all so interesting. We definitely want to go back, and can't stop telling people about it.

We loved the cottage so much! It was so clean and cozy, I would definitely stay there again. The fresh eggs, wine and milk were a delight to find. My Cavoodle was having the time of her life playing in the large land and waking up to the birds, kangaroos and tranquillity was exactly what we were after.. it was pure bliss! Country breakaway

Near new cottage was stacked with goodies and was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable for two couples and sitting on the front deck enjoying our morning coffee and evening drinks was glorious! The night sky was stunning - an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way. The animals on the property were interesting little characters and the fresh eggs we revived were a happy bonus. Mudgee is a lovely friendly town with lots to do.

Perfect little retreat for a small family or couple.

Lovely little cottage off the beaten track but close to everything in Mudgee. It was really nice to open your windows to Native birds, Ducks and Kangaroos rather than cars every morning. Fresh eggs every day from the chickens was a nice touch too. Kevin the Pig and the cows (Mumma and Bubba) provided much entertainment for the children. The owners Robyn and Darryl were really friendly and accommodating with any additional needs. Highly recommended if you can book it, its very popular and for good reason too!

Blissful country retreat

Robyn and Darryl were the perfect hosts of this immaculate cottage in a stunning and an idyllic setting. Our puppy loved the freedom running around the fenced off grounds and watching the kangaroos and meeting Kevin the pig. The cottage provided everything you could need including the thoughtful extras; fresh eggs, complimentary wine, toiletries and wireless phone chargers. Cherish the silence

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bedding and lounges. The kitchen has everything you might need from coffee in the morning to 4 course cuisine. Lounge room is air-conditioned and ceiling fans cool the bedrooms. Deck has very comfortable furnishing and is ideal for bird watching or a relaxing drink. Fresh eggs and milk were waiting for us on arrival. It’s a very peaceful retreat yet only minutes from the shops, services and eateries (numerous and excellent) of Mudgee. Highly recommended.
