"Our room was adequate. However, we were inconvenienced on our first night as the toilet did not flush and telephone did not work to call the front desk. We went in person to the front desk and asked for help. The maintenance man was gone for the day, and the night man at the front desk came to help us and was able to get the toilet to flush. He intimated that we would get a discount on our room rate for being inconvenienced and he would make a note of it for the daytime staff. When checking out, we were NOT given a discount."

"Front desk staff was helpful and the room was pretty clean except the floors. Wore socks the whole stay and they were all black on the bottom after spending only a couple hours a day in the room. In all 4 days we stayed room service did not come even once. Trash piled up in the outside garbage, presumably bc everyone was having to throw their own trash away like we had to. Ran out of towels and soap and asked for service 3 times during our stay and they never came. We had to get everything ourselves which is crazy given they charged double the normal rate for the festival. Felt taken advantage of because of that."

"It's an old hotel in an old building and it becomes apparent in a lot of little ways. The fan in the bathroom didn't work well (at one point it ran very weakly and another time not at all). The toilet was weak and would not flush down two wads of tp. Also there were little maintenance issues... nothing major but like no bag in the trash can in the bathroom, and the filter part of the coffee maker was missing so I couldn't make coffee. Breakfast isn't included (extra $20) and neither is parking ($29 for one day). Again, we were fine there and it was fine but just a lot if little things that add up."

"I can see why this hotel is winning awards! We had an excellent stay at The Junto in Columbus! Located in the revitalized Franklinton arts district, right across the river from downtown. The Brass Eye rooftop bar/ restaurant was also exceptional, our servers during our two visits being Matty and Izzy, and they were awesome!"
