"A fairly standard business hotel — perfectly serviceable but showing its age a bit. The room and facilities felt older, and cleanliness could have been a little better. Staff were friendly and polite, and the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with some great dining options close by. Overall fine for a short stay, but could use a bit of freshening up."

"I recently stayed at Birupaku l in Shizuoka, and it was a fantastic experience!
The location was very central, making it easy to explore the area. Lots of shops and restaurants around. The parking was included, which was a major plus, and it was conveniently close to the property.
The apartment itself was spotless, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the small kitchenette, which allowed for some home-cooked meals. The large screen TV projector was...

"Staff were very helpful when i checked in here. I did get the impression they dont get too many overseas travellers but this did not stop them from being friendly and providing the service they would provide anyone staying there. This place also advertised a public bath available which i regretfully did not use as i was not there long enough. I was only here for one night on a stop but when i took a stroll around the neighbourhood i felt very safe and there were plenty of convenience stores....

"The hotel is very convenient. The things you need are easily available both in the hotel amenities and in the convenience store next to the hotel, so you can use the hotel with ease. Also, breakfast was very good, including local delicacies."

"The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated the public bath being open until midnight — such a nice convenience. The room was spacious enough for a solo stay; however, there was a slight odor that was a bit noticeable. Overall, still a comfortable experience."
"We stayed at the hotel as we went to visit the Shizunami Surf Stadium. Hotel was good but sort of isolated. There was only a McDonalds and a 7 Eleven close by. Finding a cab was impossible, so we recommend asking people at the reception to book it for you. They were very helpful! Wish we could have visited their spa but unfortunately if you have tattoos you are not allowed. "
"This is an absolute gem! Gorgeous rooms with top notch amenities. We used there complimentary bikes and bikes all around the small town. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The onsen is complimentary with your stay. Great service, such a treat! "
