"Historic property right in the middle of it all. Rooms are super comfortable (I’ve stayed in a few of them) and excellent value for the money. Nice courtyard with pool and places to sit. Friendly staff. You should totally stay here.

"This is a little oasis in an urban setting. Once you enter the gate to the actual hotel, it is completely charming. I had the sense that the owners took an old motel or motor court, and transformed it into little cottages around a center courtyard with lovely desert landscaping, a pristine pool, and various lounging, firepits, etc. Because of the painting of the cottages, based on the fabulous wallpaper inside, there is a definite deco luxe feel. The only improvement is very specific to summer heat (I live in Tucson so I know this well) - the main room was air conditioned fairly well and had a ceiling fan, but the cool air didn't really help in the kitchenette or the bathroom. Additional fans might help or small window AC? The bathroom was more challenging because if you closed the door, the room heated up pretty quickly. Again, this is probably only an issue in July/August, and might be solved easily.
The pantry, staff, breakfast, grounds, etc. were really superior - my adult daughter said it would be ideal for a bridal shower. The design elements were fabulous."
"Property was beautiful and well maintained. cottages were clean, well supplied and comfortable. pool, game room and other amenities were superlative. Only negative was door access systems failed six times over two days. Staff attempted to correct problem but it was still failed when we left."
