"Cabin was clean and peaceful, although the drive up to the cabin was pretty steep and narrow (this is coming from someone who lives in a flat area!) The hot tub area was perfect with a huge hot tub & relaxing day bed. The shower was also great with good water pressure. I wasn't a big fan of the bed ...it was low & a little too soft for my back, but it definitely wasn't uncomfortable, just different from my firmer mattress. My husband and I really enjoyed the Angler Trail near the cabin that runs along the creek. Nature all around and very romantic atmosphere. Nearest town is about 10 minutes away and has all you need with several great restaurants. Several good state parks within 30-45 minutes, and the Virginia Creeper Trail bike ride was super fun!! Strongly recommended staying here and enjoying all the cabin & the area have to offer :)"

"The stairs up to our room seemed like they could use a little reinforcing/updating. However, the stairway was well lighted and easily navigable. We did find a previously opened bottle of water in our refrigerator, likely from a prior guest. The room was clean and comfortable, but could use additional electrical outlets near the bed for CPAP users."
