"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"This property was a real unique find and was set in such a tranquil area. Beautiful, large, bedroom and bathroom all well furnished. A bonus was the swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Definitely worth a visit and the owners were charming and welcoming. "

"A really quirky and nice property in great grounds. Need to book restaurant in advance as reading reviews often dull and not much in the area and nothing else walkable. Overall a nice stay - great spa, lovely grounds. Special mention to Raphael who helped us 👍"

"lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. The attention to detail in all areas from greeting us, the presentation of the rooms, to a fabulous breakfast. Thank you so much. Hospitality at its best. "

"What a gem of a place, not easy to find but once you do it’s great with the perfect host Only one issue was the bath not holding the water which is an easy fix other than that I’d recommend the place without hesitation "

Profesional attentive and friendly staff. "Very handy apartment hotel. Lots of easy free parking and cheap EV charging/petrol nearby. Modern, spacious, comfy and clean with friendly staff. Huge supermarket opposite and cinema, pizza restaurant, brewpub with great burgers and McDonald's all within 5-10 mins walk. Bus stop opposite to metro into the city, total trip takes 20 mins and costs just €1.70 by contactless. Continental breakfast was good too. My room had a lovely rural view to the rear of the hotel."
