HENRY’S red roof cabin on the Chauga River

We have 400 ft on a picturesque bend of the Chauga River, towards the upper end of the River s 31 mile length. This home has nice landscaping and hardscaping that adds to its vacation setting. We have an outdoor fire pit with seating. (Wood provided)

PLEASE- when you are reserving our cabin, please be accurate with your head count. It is not fair to our house cleaner when the reservation is for two, and there has obviously been 4 or more folks staying overnight. Or when our neighbors comment that they met 6 folks swimming or fishing and the reservation is only for two.

Whether you are seeking a fishing experience, or a retreat from everyday life, you will really enjoy our secluded cabin with it's covered porch, steps from the river. With central heat & air, a modern kitchen with features like granite countertops & a dishwasher, this getaway will be comfortable and memorable.

This modern homes setting on a bend of the Chauga River will make you want to come back again and again!
The entire property and home will be all yours to quietly enjoy.
We live nearby, and are available by telephone if needed. There is a land line phone at our cabin as well, as cell phone service is sketchy.

The property is easily reachable when using gps, but you might want to print out your map if you are planning on arriving at night since it can be a little tricky in the dark.
We are 25 to 30 minutes away from Clemson
All the comforts of home- Air conditioning, Heating, washer & dryer, dishwasher
Close to Cashiers, Clemson, Highlands, Clayton, and Chattooga Belle Farm

Very nice
There were some issues I spotted and made known to the owner. They were immediately going to look into it after we left.

Fantastic place and stay
Property was extremely clean. Huge porch was fantastic and riverside fire pit was perfect. It’s great that the host supplies the wood at no charge. It’s kept in a nearby covered area, so it’s dry. Most importantly, the host was great. She was very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Wish there was a shower upstairs, but that’s a minor inconvenience. This place is fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Awesome River-Front Cabin
An awesome river-front cabin, my buddy and I had a great time! Cabin was on an incredible property, woke up to birds singing in the mornings, and found success fly fishing the river. Host/Contact was quick to respond and very accommodating. Thank you!

Great Place to Relax!
Comfortable cabin in a stream-side setting. Pet-friendly. Has everything you need. Loved rocking on the front porch & eating on the deck. Very close to waterfalls & hiking trails. GPS and internet don’t work well leading up to the cabin. Suggest that you screen shot the door code and driving directions from the owner before you lose the internet/GPS. The house does have Wi-Fi .

A nice surprise
We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Liked that the river was steps away from the porch. The pictures on the site are accurate. Anything you could need is there. My husband caught 4 trout (Using worms). Liked the location of cabin. Far enough from people, but close enough to drive to other areas we enjoy,Cashiers and Highlands. A cozy little town down the mountain called Wahaulla is very quaint. Has cute shops and a few local restaurants. Found a grocery store called Ingles, very nice place. Missy our host was very helpful answering any questions we had before and during our trip. We were there during a very cold snap. 20’s at night only in high 30’s during day. On our day trips we saw snow, ice cicles and frozen ponds! Hope some of this information is helpful for your future trips. PS: our fur babies had fun as well.
