"Run down"

"This resort was amazing for a nice relaxing getaway. The surrounding areas and resort was beautiful and the staff were mostly all amazing too. We particularly enjoyed laying by the pool and being able to have pool side service. Gym amenities were great. Loved doing a yoga class there! Most importantly, we found a resort that’s truly pet friendly. Our dog was allowed to hang out with us by the pool and essentially everywhere but the gym and spa areas. He loved being able to stay with us and it put our mind at ease that he was allowed to and we didn’t have to be constantly worried about that. Overall great location and would for sure stay here again. The only areas of improvement I’d suggest would be there should be enough umbrellas at the pool for every 2 chairs. With how hot it gets, the umbrellas were a commodity and there weren’t enough a couple of the times we were looking for them. Similarly, at the Cielo, it would’ve been nice to have some tables outside with umbrella coverage too. The restaurant’s food and service left a little to be desired. For the price, the portion and flavor were a little disappointing. I ordered a breakfast egg white flatbread and it was sausage and bacon pizza with scrambled egg whites on the side. The salmon for dinner was small for the price. The food overall was underwhelming. That doesn’t dull the overall appeal of this resort for me though. I would just maybe get brunch elsewhere next time around. Looking forward to staying here again!"

"Fantastic staff! Lovely location off the 202. Love the full kitchen and laundry in the room. It was clean and comfy. The grounds were very well taken care of. Will stay here when we come to Phoenix. "

"I’ve been in 8 cities the past 60 days and this was BY FAR the worst of all the places I’ve stayed which surprised me because Extended Stays are usually pretty decent. When I first got there, the staff was nice and welcoming so I had high hopes, but then I got to the room. The room smelled terrible (like old Chinese food to be specific). We turned the vent on the microwave and the bathroom on full blast and it helped a little but the smell lingered in the room the full 3 days we were there. Then came the bed…we pulled back the covers and the sheets were dirty and stained. I called the front desk and they were short handed so she couldn’t bring anything up but said I could go down and pick up clean sheets…which I did. The room itself is a good size and has a nice “full size” fridge which was great, but there is no shampoo, soap, paper towels, or anything else that would be useful. I did pick up some soap at the same time as the sheets but you would think that should be a normal thing that is part of turning the room. Finally, the hotel advertises that breakfast is included…if that is breakfast, then I’m Santa Claus! “Breakfast” was a handful of granola bars and packaged boiled egged which were suspended in liquid in a plastic bag and looked disgusting. THAT’S IT!! And that was only there one of the mornings we were there. No juice, no milk, no bread, NOTHING!! So to summarize, the front staff was friendly but that is the only positive. I would avoid this place at all cost! "

"This place was absolutely terrible! There was a lady at the desk who was unfriendly, the room was not very clean. I pulled back the sheets and found a used straw in my bed. The shower curtain did not close at all and water went everywhere. Walking around in my socks, the socks were black like the floors have never been cleaned. The area outside and inside the building was extremely loud. You can hear everything from conversations, kids running in rooms to the traffic outside. Do yourself a favor and avoid your place! "
