"The first thing was the entrance into the hotel lobby, it was as narrow and the front door of a home. The cement was broken on spots. You could see spots on the fascia that needed repair not to mention the interior of the hotel. It only had 2 luggage carriers and they felt like they were ready to fall apart as we wheeled our luggage to our room. There was no coffee pot ot hair dryer in the room and the TV left alot to be desired; the channels were fuzzy and picture not clear. The hotel needs a major make-over before I will stay there again."

"Got in late. Staff at desk was very pleasant and helpful. Only bummer was no blanket or top sheet available for pullout couch. Staff did try to find one but didnt. Room and bathroom very clean. Morning staff not so great. Kitchen/ food service worker not interested in making eggs or meat options after 8:30 though open unt 10:00. Juice dispenser broken. No fridge items ( yogurt etc.) Only high carb options available."

"The room coffee pot still had coffee pak in it. Hair was in the tub. I was thinking breakfast would have included some fresh fruit or hot items such as some eggs or hot oatmeal or even some type of meat. No type of assorted creamers. "

"I stayed at the Radisson while in town for my older brother’s funeral, traveling with limited funds and coordinating multiple family members to stay together so we could support one another. I explained this situation to Manager Manoj and respectfully requested a one-time courtesy upgrade to a larger available room so our grieving family wouldn’t be crowded into a small space or the lobby. Instead of showing understanding, Manoj repeatedly told me to come back, offering no real help. When I returned the next day, he was gone, and the next manager, Duwan, read Manoj’s notes aloud—stating I had requested an upgrade and instructing staff not to grant it and to charge me. Given the circumstances, this felt cold, dismissive, and lacking basic compassion. In contrast, Manager Duwan showed true professionalism and empathy. After briefly reviewing the situation, he upgraded us to a larger space with additional connected rooms, giving my family the privacy and comfort we needed to grieve together. He even escorted us upstairs, ensuring everything was taken care of. The difference was clear: where Manoj was unkind and dismissive, Duwan was compassionate and understanding. I’m grateful for Duwan’s care during such a difficult time and hope the Radisson recognizes employees who truly embody hospitality."

"We had booked this hotel after staying at the Hyatt Detroit Royal Oak. Wrong decision… the website showed a bar, the eatery restaurant, and a pool. We arrived in the evening and planned on just eating at the hotel. I asked about the bar at check-in, they said the bar is closed (no license), we asked about the restaurant, was told it’s only breakfast. The girls wanted to swim, well the pool was closed for maintenance. We were told last night that it was under new ownership so they were not able To have the bar or dinner, and that they were getting a new pool maintenance crew. The glasses in our room were dirty, and literally stuck to the shelf, only had 1 towel in the room, which makes you wonder how well the room was actually cleaned before us. The pull-out sofa sleeper had what appeared to be electrical tape holding the cushions together. We travel often for youth sports. This hotel was a big disappointment!"
