Clean and spacious. Great atmosphere and property. The check in was easy and hassle free. Basecamp is in a great location. Close to food and shopping, and a very short drive to the Ski resort. We had a great time relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
This is a beautiful cabin just at the outskirts of Shasta town. Very clean, nice design and has beautiful view on the Mountain-top.
We enjoyed our stay.
Thank you very much!
We had a wonderful time here! It was our first time in the area and we enjoyed going to the lake and the amenities the cabin had to offer. It allowed us to grill up dinner, spend time together outside with beautiful views, a place for the kids to safely run around, and adequate space inside for us to all spend time relaxing in the evening. We'd love to come back to make this an annual trip!
Sorry but,There was terrible smoke smell.I couldn’t heat the place up. It was cold.Hot water took forever to arrive at any faucet.I struggled to open the sliding glass door. It's dark. Brighter light bulbs would help a lot.A dresser and/or closet would be nice.Great location.
We love the place. It is very cozy and relaxing. Perfect place to unwind. The Host is very pleasant and easy to communicate. We will definitely want to come back again. Thanks Angela
I was so happy when I walked into this cabin. It is so nicely put together, homey, and clean. It’s close to the town of Mt. Shasta. We came on a blizzardy snow day/weekend. Snow shovels were out for our convenience and I feel they did a great job keeping the snow maintained as well as they could. They checked in to assure we had everything we needed. I hate being a nuisance so I didn’t tell them it would be nice to have more blankets, but I know for a fact they would of come running if I had said something. My only complaint is that the HVAC machines were accidentally turned off when we got there and it took about eight hours for the house to heat up. It was pretty uncomfortable for a while with it being a snowy night, but they were apologetic and mentioned they usually have the previous guest and cleaners leave them on. After the house heated up, we had no issues staying warm. I would love to stay here again and especially in the spring or summer so we can utilize their common area. Even being covered in snow, you could see the hammocks, lounge chairs, and other fun things awaiting to be used on a beautiful warm day. The view was SPECTACULAR ✨.
Accurate listing. Good location. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Primary bed very comfortable. Nice morning and evening views of top of Mt. Shasta from backyard which features swinging hammocks which are nice for the kids. Fireplace came in handy. Can buy firewood at supermarket in town. The kitchen and primary shower tub show a little wear and tear but still work well.
We’ve stayed in this property for 4 nights while visiting Mt Shasta. It’s been absolutely incredible experience. This place is very cozy, clean and welcoming with everything you need. Hostesses are most welcoming!
We want to come back and stay for a month!!
Thank you!!!
Nice property, great idea in the compound. Close to a major road. Other properties real close in the compound. I’ve never had so many requests to leave a review, hence the title of the post. I’m okay with a reminder, but the aggressive review requests “juke the stats”.
Property was great for a few friends studying and then climbing Shasta. Tons of space, clean, good vibe. Expect trucks zooming by all night, which wasn’t too annoying actually, just FYI. And there were a few properties on premise that never said boo to us, but I was worried about being disrespectful to them with lights and noise. Again, no issues, just FYI.
And, even the annoying review requests show that the owners care a lot, which is much better than the alternative! Great place overall. And they got their review, LOL.
Beautiful cabin with sleek, modern design and furniture. Host very responsive and answered all questions quickly. Check in and check out very easy. In very safe and comfortable neighborhood. Would definitely stay again
Angela communicates on behalf of Christian and was extremely friendly and responsive. The listing was accurate and we found it cozy, comfortable and a great place to retreat to as a family of four. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including pots, pans and dishes and utensils for cooking. We chose this location to have easy access to Bunny Flat Trailhead for snowshoeing. The location was perfect for that. As the listing states, the unit shares a wall with tenants next door; we had no problems with noise, and it felt very private as the other units were quiet. There are two fabulous hammocks in the yard under large oak trees and a wonderful swing my boys spent most of their time on when we were not playing board games by the roaring fire (amazing hood and fan that kept the house warm) or up on the mountain snowshoeing. Last but not least, each of the three beds has a quality Pendleton blanket that will keep you warm at any temp. What a treat!
