Stunning lake views yet 2 minutes to the water.

The view of Lake Shasta is amazing, and it is only 2-minute drive to the lake. This lake house is on a private, gated road that backs up to the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. There are only 4 houses on our road. We are at the top of the hill with a stunning panoramic vista, on 2 1/2 acres of privacy. We also have a private creek with a picnic table on the property.
The house is lovely with a fully appointed kitchen with a full selection of culinary gadgets and many small appliances and even a double oven. It is stocked with pots and pans, glasses, mugs, utensils, blender, Keurig, coffee pot, a large 37-inch stove top, microwave and much more to ensure you have a wonderful visit. We do not have 8 forks for 8 people. You will have everything you need. The dining room table easily seats 8 adults and has a beautiful view from every seat.
All 3 of the bedrooms are very spacious with views from every window. The house is two stories with two bedrooms upstairs and also a play area with a smart TV for kids to play Wii, watch movies, or play the many board games provided. There is also a large bedroom downstairs with beautiful window seats. There are 3 full bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower that is handicapped equipped. The main bedroom upstairs has an oval jetted bathtub and a separate shower. The other upstairs bathroom has a shower tub combination.
There are three flat screen TV's and a stereo system. All TV's use the Apps on your phone. There is Wi-Fi with excellent coverage with great internet and cell service. You can stream Netflix, Prime or whatever you want on all TVs.
The house has 2 very large decks with tables and chairs for dining and relaxing while looking at the incredible views. And of course, a barbecue area. There is abundant parking for all your vehicles, boats, and toys with plenty of room to turn around.
Be sure to bring your fishing poles. Lake Shasta has a mix of cold-water and warm-water fish including Trout, Bass, Catfish, Blue Gill, Salmon, and White Sturgeon. You will need a fishing license.

Lake Shasta is in a recreational area with fishing, boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, wakeboarding, wakeboarding, wakeboarding, wake surfing, jet skiing, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. There is 365 miles of shoreline at Lake Shasta. It has a mile of shoreline for every day of the year. You will find many coves to anchor your boat and swim in water that is wonderfully warm.
Antlers Marina (530) 238-2553 or Sugarloaf Marina (530) 238-8200 may have available boat slips to rent by day. On the lake you can rent ski boats, patio boats, jet skis, paddle boards, and kayaks.
The BassHole restaurant and bar has good food and a fun atmosphere. There are tasty burgers at the Lakeshore Inn Resort and live music on the weekends. Camp Shasta is known for delicious breakfasts, and Klub Klondike was established in 1948, and has a restaurant and bar with Taco Tuesdays, pool, dancing, and karaoke. There is a small grocery store in Lakehead called Lakeshore Villa Market with an amazing variety of supplies from liquor to meats, milk, eggs, sunscreen, T-shirts, hats and even phone chargers. They have it all.! The city of Redding is only 1/2 an hour away on Highway 5. Redding has many tourist sites such as Sundial Bridge and a multitude of shopping malls, chain and local restaurants, entertainment, and grocery stores. Not too far from Lakehead is Mount Shasta, Shasta Caverns, Mammoth Mine, Pit River bridges, and countless number of hiking trails.
