"If you’re looking for a pristine, 5 star hotel, this is not it. The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean with great staff. Located just off the bridge into downtown Charleston and near many other attractions in the My Pleasant area with free and convenient parking. Great breakfast, tons of variety to start the day. Also has 2 large parks less than a minute down the road with a great pier for sightseeing. Staff is very kind and accommodating, overall a great value!"

"Really pleased with our stay at Staybridge. Had not realised breakfast was included, so that was a bonus! And the breakfast offering was lovely, plenty of it, plenty of choice, well presented.... Staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient, rooms and everywhere spotlessly clean, new towels every day. Facilities? No evening restaurant, ( but thats why they were suites with kitchenettes), swimming pool was merely a plunge pool and right next to the car park! Thanks Staybridge for a great time in Charleston!"

"Check in late evening, front desk staff with poor customer service. Arrived to our studio suite immediately noticed a strong room freshener attempting to cover up mildew smell. Shower was filthy, shower curtain coated with soap scum, hand prints all over, bodily fluids sprayed all over the window curtains and carpet, dog hair in the beds, bathroom door latch broken. This room was disgusting! Called the front desk to discuss, she ended the call. Went to talk face to face initially refused to provide management contact info. Advised my contact info would be given and I would get a phone call ( never did). Do not waste your money at this cheaply built, dirty, musty, poorly run hotel. "
