As the sun sets, have a seat in our Adirondack chairs around the fire pit for s'mores or just good conversation with friends and family.

Enjoy reading or relaxing on the back porch where there are two rocking chairs and complete privacy.

*Bryce Resort is less than .5 miles away where you can: ski, tube, Ice skate, hike, enjoy Lake Laura (Paddleboats, Kayaks, Canoes), Mountain Bike, hike, or Golf.
*Wineries nearby include: Cave Ridge Vineyard, The Winery at Kindred Point, Wolf Gap Vineyard, and Muse just to name a few.
*Breweries nearby include: Pale Fire, Swover Creek Brewery, Ridge Runner Farms, and Woodstock Brew House
*Shenandoah National Park is a great day day trip as the entrance is less than an hour away where you can hike, bike, fish, or enjoy Skyline drive.
*Shenandoah Caverns is a short 20 minute drive and Luray Caverns is about 45 minutes away.
*Visit Woodstock for: Woodstock Cafe, Muse Vineyards, Woodstock Brew House, and local shopping.
*Hiking at Big Schloss is just 30 minutes away
*Within 5 minutes of the house we have The Burn Barrel for a quick bite, Smiley's Ice Cream, Mini Golf (next to Smiley's), The Copper Kettle Restaurant (at Bryce), and a local country store for anything you may have missed when picking up groceries on the way in.

Guests will have private access to the entire house. Every guest will receive a unique access code for the door, which provides a keyless and secure entry!

Check in instructions are provided automatically 48 hours in advance of check in (or automatically upon booking if booking inside 48 hours of check in).

Please note, this is located on a mountain. While all roads are paved including the driveway, it can be difficult to navigate during the winter months. We highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months, but even with 4 wheel drive it can be difficult or impossible to navigate in the snow.

We recommend insuring your trip in the winter months when there can be harsh weather. We cannot offer refunds due to harsh weather conditions that make it difficult or impossible to get to the home as this is beyond our control.

There are about 15 stairs leading up to the front door. There is a ramp that mitigates most of the stairs, but you will still have to climb about 5-6 steps to enter the property.

Pets are welcome for an additional $125 fee per booking. Maximum of 2 pets per reservation.

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed quiet mornings, sipping coffee on the back deck (even saw some deer come through), and sitting by the fire every evening. The hot tub was lovely on the chill nights and the lighting made for great ambiance. Plus you could turn the lights off and just have the fire and a sky full of stars!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything a person would need for their stay is at their fingertips. The house had large open spaces inside and out. We are not hot tub users, but we did peek inside, finding it nice and clean looking. The host was super quick with answers to our questions. This was a lovely area too!

Great weekend getaway

We enjoyed all the amenities of this lovely house. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the game room was perfect for our youngest family member, the hot tub was relaxing, and its location provided lovely views.

We had an amazing time at The Hideaway and there was everything we needed for 2 families. The owners/managers were very accommodating and created a very easy check-in/check-out process. The property has a great setup, lots of activities, and was close enough to Bryce Bike Park that we could ride from/to the house!

Beautiful spacious house

This house has some beautiful indoor decor which makes it feel cozy, while having lots of room. The hot tub and game room are fun for the whole family. The resort is just a short drive away. The kitchen is stocked very well. We’d stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Courtney and Scott's home! It's perfect for a family or friends getaway, we loved the hot tub, game room and fire pit--we made many lovely family memories during our stay and the kids are already eager to return. There are so many amazing hikes to do in and within 30-40 miles of Bayse. Loved it, and Courtney and Scott are wonderful hosts!

Lovely vacation home for getaway

Clean and spaciouse home to stay with my families. Really enjoyed fire pit. Game room has fun stuff to play. Well maintained outdoor and exteriors. Just 3min from Bryce resort and everything is close to drive within 15min.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway

Just as advertised and location was excellent. Our family of 6 had a lovely relaxing weekend in the house. Beds were all super comfy and lots of space to spread out. Great weekend!

We came down to celebrate my moms birthday. The property was well cleaned, organized, and had everything we had expected. We loved the fire pit, ping pong table, as well as the very big family room and kitchen where we all spent time together. Would recommend!

Perfect weekend away!

We came up on a Thursday and left Sunday, and had the most fun ever! The house was wonderful and cozy, and the firepit outside was the perfect place to relax and hang out, and Courney was so easy to reach with any questions we had over the weekend. The only thing we'd change is that we wished we'd booked a longer stay ❤️

Beautiful and comfortable cabin!

This place was very comfortable for multiple families and super cozy with the fireplace and hot tub! We were surprised that that game room was located in the garage, but maybe we missed that in the listing. Comfy beds, lots of space to sit in the living area, and a spacious kitchen. Very responsive host! We’d definitely stay here again!
