"I loved our family room with the loft; very clean and cozy and we had our own balcony with a beautiful view of the tea plantation. The hot pot restaurant was amazing with delicious fresh veggies and was a lovely way to end the day after hiking in the misty forest. The view of sunset from the hot pot restaurant was absolutely stunning! My only reservation would be for elderly travelers as there are stairs and some steep pathways- they would need some assistance with luggage and walking....
"From the property, you can see the beautiful Alishan famous sunrise. The front yard is very beautiful and well maintained where guests can completely relax and enjoy the mountain view. We highly recommend staying at the First Sun bed and breakfast."

"Clean rooms and good service all around! We stayed here for our overnight trip to Alishan and were very please it was walking distance to the bus and train station. There are many shops and convenience stores nearby for a quick meal or snack."

"The thermal spas are amazing. Although the outdoor one for us was closed for the two days for cleaning. Overall the hotel outside of the thermal spas is very dated and not the cleanest. we had some holes in linen and it was all a bit grimy. The staff were lovely and the food was great. "
