"I like the authentic charm of the historic hotel. The room was fairly sparsely furnished, there was no where to sit except for the bed. Some kind of chair would be nice."

I highly recommend and I am not one who ever bothers to do these surveys but just felt compelled because of how wonderful this stay was. Support this small business!!"
Fairview Lodge on 4th Lake

"Fairview Lodge was comfortable with a lovely front lawn. We enjoyed the view of the lake from our balcony and had fun with a bonfire in the fire pit at night. It was perfect for our family reunion with lots of bedrooms and a long dining table."
Adorable Historic Adirondack Lakefront Cottage on Long Lake

"We had a wonderful stay at their cottage! Such a beautiful spot on the lake. A highlight was sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. The dock was also a great place to watch the sunset, and there was a sandy beach while we were there. The kitchen was pleasant and had the important basics. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Great location. The gas 'wood burning' stove kept the place warm enough on the cold mornings when it was in the low 40's. Reminder to bring your own towels and bedding and plan time to vacuum and clean before you leave. They provided dish towels and dish soap. A few things to note for anyone not too tall, or with mobility issues. The comfy bed is up very very high. And the bathroom tub is up high on a sort of platform so you have to be extra careful when stepping into, and especially out of the tub and onto the floor, (even being tall and in fit shape) . The tub is curved on the bottom under your feet, so we held onto the top of the tub as we stepped out. The access from the parking area into the cottage was flat, and then there's a bunch of steps to get down to the lake. Can't wait to get back there!"

"Lovely cabin very homey. Very clean and comfortable. The area surrounding the cabin is very nice great fire pit. The host was very easy to reach and attentive. Has a well stocked kitchen all you need to cook a meal. A BBQ charcoal grill available to use. Great stay."

"Overall it was a good stay for the price. Should include in the description though, it is under renovation. Beds were not great and need updating as well. Otherwise a good stay. Host was friendly and helpful."

"We had a great time getting the whole family together at this property for the week. There was plenty of space for our 5 families, and the kids had a blast in the basement. We also loved the property grounds! The private beach, the small island - there was so much to explore!"
