Erstaunliche Aussichten auf Berge, Wälder und das Bergdorf Motovun in Istrien

An den teils bewaldeten Berghängen rundum der kleinen Stadt Motovun sieht man, wenn man vor die Tür der schönen Villa Kiara geht, viele kleine Weiler. Einige dieser Häusergrüppchen besuchten wir zu Fuß oder im Auto im Laufe der zwei entspannten Wochen, die wir in dieser magischen Landschaft verbrachten. Die Dörfchen bestehen meist aus 10 bis 15 Gebäuden, von denen nicht wenige in den verschiedenen Stadien eines traurigen Verfalls befinden oder gar leer stehen, andere wiederum mit Verstand für die optimalste Ausnutzung des eher begrenzten Wohnraums und Respekt für traditionelle Baustile in sehr schöner Weise modernisiert worden sind. Villa Kiara, im Weiler Beletićev Brijeg, gehört, wie aus den Bildern der FeWo-Webseite erkenntlich, zu letzterer Kategorie, wobei die meist kleinen Räume für vier Gäste völlig ausreichten -nicht zuletzt, weil sich den Blicken von den Fenstern erstaunlich weite Aussichten auf Berge und Wälder bieten. Auf der Terrasse zum Pool geht der Blick dann auf das jenseits des Tals nahegelegene, sehr schöne und historisch interessante Bergdorf Motovun, das wegen seines Supermarkts und der guten Restaurants, aber auch aufgrund der vielen kleinen, vom Tourismus lebenden Geschäften sehr zu empfehlen ist. Das Haus zu finden, war nicht besonders schwierig, der Empfang war herzlich und unkompliziert. Als uns auffiel, dass einige Kleinigkeiten im Haus fehlten, oder dass der Abfluss einer Dusche blockiert war, kam binnen Stunden jemand von der das Haus betreuende Agentur und bot eine geeignete Lösung an. Der Swimmingpool war sehr angenehm und sehr sauber. Die regelmäßige Wartung des Filters durch die Agentur versicherte, dass der Pool auch während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts sauber blieb. Einen Makel muss ich allerdings in dieser ansonsten doch recht lobenden Beschreibung der Villa erwähnen, der aber durch einer entsprechenden Warnhinweis auf der FeWo-Seite behoben werden könnte: Die Villa ist nicht wirklich barrierefrei! Das heißt, gebrechliche Menschen oder Menschen mit Gehbehinderung werden es vermutlich sehr schwer finden, die ungewöhnlich enge und steile Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern zu benutzen. Auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist die Treppe nicht geeignet. Wer weniger gebrechlich oder klein ist, durfte aber in diesem Haus, in diesem freundlichen Dörfchen und in dieser Region (sehr zu empfehlen: der Fußweg von der Haustür aus nach Zamask!) einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbringen (Achtung: Moskitospray nicht vergessen!).

Totally Amazing

This was the best place ever, we will definitely return More than once. The house was amazing, the location perfect and surroundings so beautiful. When needed contact with the owner everything went quick and smooth. Fantastic neighbours!!
