"This was very disappointing. It was not cleaned. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it The wastebasket under the sink was full. The bathrooms were not clean. The house smelled of cats. The owner apologized because she wasn’t able to catch one of her cats. The cat came into the house the first night and scared us."

"FANtastic!!! Great hospitality from hosts, incredibly comfortable and well-appointed cabin. So many little details from welcome basket to sauna to firepit with kindling and lighter... everything so well thought out. Animal friendly but with no sign of another animal every staying there - except the host provided special towels, clean up bags, and even a set of dishes for the canine - again it was impeccable hosting for everyone. Will definately be on a shortlist of places to visit again."

"This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. The setting is magnificent and the hosts were phenomenal. It was really nice to have access the the kayaks on the property, which we promptly took advantage of after our arrival. The deck and dock are both lovely places to sit and enjoy nature. Our short stay was great and we will be back!!! Thanks again!!"

"The lot and area that this cabin was on is beautiful. It was very nice to have a second cabin and the sauna was great. There does seem to be some maintenance needed on several areas of the cabin, such as the screen door did not close and it had holes in the screen. The kitchen could use some better utensils and organization also."

"An easy drive from the Twin Cities, this was a perfect couples getaway! We enjoyed this sunny cabin’s wraparound windows facing the lake and three season porch. We fired up the cozy wood burning stove almost every day. Plus we like to cook and this kitchen was well laid out and had all the basics we needed to make some fantastic meals. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful."

"Although the weather was something to work around, it didn't stop us from finding ways to have fun on the beach, fishing, and playing games. We had a fire on the beach and cooked hotdogs. It was a lovely time"

"The house was a quaint, clean, and quiet place to stay. We very much enjoyed spending time on the dock and on the small balcony outside the sitting area. Owner could spend a little more TLC on the outside spaces, but it really didn't make our stay unpleasant in any way."

Eric and Laura are great hosts and take such good care of their place - it's always really clean, easy to access, and offers such great amenities in a fantastic location. It has that great woodsy/lake feel, but still offers plenty of shops, restaurants, and activities nearby. We love it!"
