Views! Spacious, Light Bright, Gorge-ous Views!

Stunning River Views! Celebrate the sunset from this bluff perch above Mosier. Look down the Columbia River, across at the hills of the Gorge and watch the world go by.

Spacious, freshly remodeled, light, bright home with brand new comfortable furnishings. The ideal location for a family get-together or hanging out with friends. No cable TV but flat screen tv's in every room, dvd's, wifi and air hockey table await after a hard day of exploring.

Close to Mosier's kite/ windsurf launch & kid friendly beach. Mosier is just minutes east of Hood River on I-84. Exit 69.

We allow pets at pet friendly homes only with prior approval and a $15/night/pet, pet fee. Pets are not permitted on the bedding or furniture and must never be left at the home alone unless they are crated/kenneled.

The Columbia River Gorge, with its mountains and rivers, offers the vacationer and recreation enthusiast the opportunity to windsurf, mountain bike, kayak, golf, ski, hike, fish, or just relax in the unhurried pace of a natural paradise. Historic buildings line the beautifully scenic streets of downtown Hood River, with a bustling shopping district featuring boutiques, designer shops, outdoor adventure gear outfitters, antique shops, art galleries and no less than 30 restaurants.

There are many orchards and vineyards in Hood River. The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available, and varies by season. The award-winning Hood River Vineyards is located on a hillside overlooking the Hood River Valley. Their tasting room features traditional wines, and fruit liqueurs.

The Columbia River Gorge, with its magnificent views make this a dream spot for a destination wedding.

Wind surfing capital of the world is Hood River's latest distinction. The winds from the Columbia River Gorge, best during the middle of the day, create ideal conditions for riding the waves. To enjoy the view of "boardheads" at play, drive to the Columbia Gorge Sailpark or follow Second Street to the waterfront.

The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country's only year-round skiing and snowboarding.

Please note, if you choose to book with this home, you will be receiving a separate rental agreement that will need to be electronically signed before your stay.

Needs attention
Nice location, plenty of space. Kitchenware stock moderate. A lot of things missing to actually cook. Skillet pan handles were loose. Grill only two of four burners work and base was filled with water. It needs help.Dishwasher needs deep clean and bunk beds are awful to sleep in for adults. Basement had no heat at all. But it was only a few days so it worked out fine. Owner needs to be aware of the toll renting is taking on house. It needs more attention.

Beautiful stay close to hikes
Amazing stay close to hikes and wildflowers! Loved that we could hike the Mosier Plateau trail and walk to Mo Co for beers. Short drive to Hood River. Beautiful views for relaxing! Highway traffic is loud but with windows closed not noticeable. Perhaps bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. My biggest note would be the WiFi is not good - I planned to work from home and was not able to.

Mosier is Great
The house was clean and had a ton of room. Amazing views from the living room and kitchen. Quick into small downtown Mosier and fast to Hood River. It was a great house and we’d stay here again.

A Little Disappointed
This is not a five star property. In my opinion five star properties don’t have tired laminate countertops, cheap fiberglass shower stalls, stained and “icky” shag carpet, etc. There were other problems like a broken toilet, broken garbage disposal and broken kitchen spigot. There were missing window covers in the master bath that made it unusable for all intents and purposes. Finally the property advertised a grill, which we planned to use, but it was rusted and dirty and full of rusted water. Very disappointing care of the property The location is okay. Although the advertisement shows views of the river, they don’t show that there is a freeway and train tracks between the house and the river. The noise was subtle but ever present. This is, when faults are corrected, probably a four star accommodation in my opinion.
