Upon entering the home, we noticed it was incredibly cold, and smelled strongly of patchouli. After turning the heat up, it took a good 4 hours for us to be mildly comfortable, with blankets. We lit a candle to ameliorate the patchouli odor. In the hall bathroom, there was dried urine in the space between the tank and toilet. We ran out of silverware quickly as there were only 3-4 of each forks and spoons. We loaded the dishwasher as requested in home instructions, but could not figure out a way to start it. When we contacted management, we received an auto reply which did not address our issue. We struggled with good cell service. My guest needed to accomplish a few year end work items and wasn't able to connect to her office by phone as needed. Finally, we left a day early due to these issues. We did not make the decision lightly. Because it was a rather spendy stay, but we were tired of being chilly.
