The outstanding feature of this hotel is its location. Easy access to train station and across the street from Porta Nigra and the old town. The hotel itself is comfortable and a bit old-school, we had a spacious room and the largest bed I have ever seen.

What are some of the general tips for travellers to Mosel Wine Region during the COVID-19 outbreak?
If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice new rules and restrictions in place. Take note of these tips and make your getaway to Mosel Wine Region a smooth one:
  • Before booking your flight, check if any travel restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Stay informed with the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
  • Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask for ID verification when asked.
  • Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Instead, position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
  • TSA now allows passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed from your bag for X-ray screening.
  • Put any personal items (phone, wallet and keys) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during screening.
  • Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open your bag for inspection.
