"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"Room was ok. A bit warm as there was no air conditioning or fan. The bed was ok apart from the awful pillows (which you will find in most German hotels sadly) which are big, floppy and offer no support to your head. The bathroom was clean. The hill up to the hotel is very steep if youre walking. Hard work with a heavy suitcase, especially on the cobbles! Surrounding area nice. Near to the old town with the beautiful castle and churches. Staff were nice. They spoke English and booked a taxi...

"A reasonably priced hotel, competently managed and serviced by just one lovely lady. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal facilities to hang and store clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases, but otherwise perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a well-functioning shower. The continental breakfast was ample with fresh bread rolls and a wide selection of meats and cheeses, as well as a limited number of cereals and fruit. The hotel is situated in the village of Vicht right next to the stream of the same name. The village offers delightful walks in its own right, but is also well situated to explore Aachen, Stolberg, Monschau and the northern Eifel region. Use of a car is desirable to get around, but the village is serviced by public transport. Overall we had a great time."

"Booked a double bed was given a room with one double and twin bunk beds over the double bed, there was no air conditioner as advertised. The room was extremely small! When we asked they said rooms don’t have any a/c. And they all have bunk beds..No ice maker, no microwave even at reception area! Flies everywhere! Windows have no screens!! Staff was friendly!"
