"We booked two standard rooms over New Year based on Hotels.com descriptions. Whilst our stay was okay - the standard room was not like the Hotels.com description. There was no TV in either of our rooms, we didn't get water even once (despite asking), and the dustbin in the bathroom had previous occupant's litter in it - YUK! When we asked for TVs (as per hotel.com description) - they found one (no remote) for one of our two rooms but it could only play content off our own laptop. WIFI is...

"My family and I have stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but, by far, this has to be one of the loveliest places we have ever visited. One night was just not enough and, should we visit Mozambique again, we will be sure to allocate the time to fully appreciate everything this lovely hotel has to offer. If you find yourself in this area (with a 4x4 car), I highly recommend Travessia Beach Lodge."
