"The staff was unbelievably kind and hospitable! They were also English speaking which is hard to come by and a welcoming change. Nice and quite, perfect if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Salvador, but nothing too luxurious. You won’t find many touristy shops nearby and the walk is about 45 min to the main party town, but doable during low tide. A short 20 min boat is available for 4R and easy and at least every hour. "Nicely maintained space. Though the property is beachfront, its a long walk from the area of stay to the beach. Its a bit of a commute to get here from the port. The hotel has buses running, but may not be the most convenient."
