We stayed in room 160 which I think was an accessible room, ground floor (as were most), with easy access to the hot tub (which was super lovely - get there right on turning dusk and watch the sky turn blue to midnight to black). The room was great, super comfy king size bed. Breakfast was a buffet laid out that served fruit, granola, yoghurt, lots of breads (not GF), and avocado/tomatoes/cucumbers/fetta/gherkin that you build for yourself. There was a communal chill out area which looked great...

Absolutely loved this unique lodge and hope to return one day. The quality of design and decor is so stunning, clearly a lot of thought and work put into the outlay of all areas. The room we had was on the top floor overlooking the pool - so spacious and cosy with a fireplace. The breakfast was a surprise of quality baked pastries, fruit and something different each day such as overnight oats. Something for everyone. Only comment would be better cleaning of the outdoor balcony as couch was full...

My wife loves Sound of Music so this was a treat for her; we have visited before but not stayed. The hotel was scheduled as part of our coach tour which was cancelled due to lack of numbers so we decided to do similar by car. The staff are good and the room was excellent, if expensive. Most activities are add-ons and you PAY! Breakfast is not included either. The room and facilities are top class as is the food - both dinner and breakfast.
