Lake Front Cabin Quiet Cove Private Dock near Smoky Mtn

This log cabin is located on beautiful Douglas Lake and close to the Great Smoky Mountains. We are conveniently located 6 miles off the interstate. This cabin is ideal for couples or active families that enjoy the water and the mountains. This cabin has seasonal water early April to late Sept. depending on rainfall. We have a floating dock as long as we have water in the cove.

New pergola deck near the water with picnic table and adirondack chairs. New walkway from the lower deck transitions the hill to the pergola. Also, newly added firepit!

The main bedroom has a king size memory foam mattress, the 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd has two XL twins. The cabin is two levels with the 3rd bedroom, family room, laundry room and one bath on the lower level.

The upscale kitchen comes fully stocked. The dining table has a self-storing leaf that effortlessly converts the table to seating for eight. The spacious family room on the lower level has a 65" smart TV, foosball table and a gas fireplace. The upstairs living room also has a 55" flat screen TV and wood burning stove. The cabin has a gas grill, two decks with one covered and screened and another that is covered in the front.

We have a private dock and there are ski boat, jet ski, pontoon boat, kayak, and paddle board rentals available nearby on the lake. There is a public boat launch 4 minutes from the cabin. The cove offers protection from winds and storms, but gives easy access to the main channel.

The cabin has a front loading washer and dryer. Bath towels, wash cloths and bed linens are provided. Please BRING your own BEACH TOWELS for the lake.

We have tried to make it easy for you so we have provided things like coffee & filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. Also provided are basic kitchen items such as zip lock bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, and garbage bags.

We have installed combination deadbolts on both levels to make it easy and hassle free for you to checkin at your convenience. This also eliminates the need for everyone in your party to have a key.

The cabin has cable TV and wifi/internet.

We do want you to know that the cabin is two levels and the driveway is on the lower level. There is space for a vehicle to park just off the road on the upper level to make loading and unloading easier.

Douglas Lake (Douglas Reservoir) has over 550 miles of shoreline with a surface area greater than 30,000 acres at full pool. The reservoir itself is 43.1 miles long, with a maximum depth of 140 feet, and collects water from a 4,541 square mile watershed. On Douglas Lake, the typical annual fluctuation of the water level is about 54 feet. Great Place to stay
Overall the stay was exactly as we hoped. Close enough to get to the busy areas in 30 min of driving but far enough away to not be stuck in traffic everywhere you went. We stayed in Dec and they drain the lake so lake area is completely dry during this time of the year. Everything worked as expected and my son loved his "Apartment" which was really the basement where one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is.

It was great
I think the property would be a lot more fun in the summer, we went in November and it was nice and quiet, but I imagine the summer would be both fun and relaxing because of the lake.

Was on a beatiful lake, very very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Husband, teenage daughter and I loved it! Was close to Sevierville and not bad driving to Pidgeon Forge. Enjoyed walking through downtown Dandridge.

Last Weekend of Summer at the Lake House
We had a wonderful time at the lake house, everything was clean, comfortably furnished, and completely as advertised. Bill and Sonja were gracious hosts, we didn't want for anything during our stay. The views are beautiful from everywhere on this property. Highly recommend!

Relaxation with Beautiful Views!
Our stay was fantastic. The two of us decided on a last minute trip for labor day weekend. We were lucky to have found the perfect place. The house was very clean and was well stocked with anything we needed! We stayed for 3 nights and only ate out one time. We cooked and grilled and had no desire to leave as it was peaceful and beautiful. We kayaked and used the canoe provided by the owners! Douglas lake is beautiful, with many coves to explore. We will definitely return!

The best stay ever!!!!!
We felt welcomed from the moment we opened the front door. We had read the reviews, and were expecting a great place. But, all the reviews paled in comparison to what we experienced. All the little details that went along with this house made it a home. The thoughtful decor, and all the amenities made us want for nothing. It seemed as if everything we needed was right here within the cabin. From the well stocked kitchen and rooms, to the little extras: like the games, fire pit, grill, dock, and chairs & tables, which made our time blissful, while living on lake time. The views were incredible from every location in and outside the house. We made sure to enjoy them all each day from the many available decks strategically located around the cabin. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and making our honeymoon so wonderfully special! Tony & Diana Ages 69 & 65

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and nice. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The owners answered all questions with prompt responses and gave us lots of suggestions such as where to put our boat in and restaurants that you could get to by water. Lake was great and our kids enjoyed skiing and tubing. Would highly recommend
