Lyme Cottage, with its two hemmel arched windows, provides an immaculately furnished light and airy lounge. The gas coal effect fire creates a cosy feel during winter evenings. The lounge also benefits from a large Smart TV with free WiFi throughout the cottage. The spacious dining kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams.
The cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 4 people. The ground floor contains a beautiful bedroom and ensuite, with panoramic views of the sea and a very comfortable king size bed. On the first floor the bedroom provides twin beds and built in wardrobe. There is an adjacent bathroom incorporating bath, wash basin and toilet.
The rear lawned garden is fully enclosed, has views across the sea and towards the village of Alnmouth in the distance, and is ideal for alfresco dining.
A delightful cottage set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the villages of Alnmouth and Warkworth with private access to the beautiful Killiecrankie Beach (just a short walk down the field at the back of the cottage).
The private path to the beach also provides access to St Oswalds Coastal Path which runs along the exquisite Northumberland coastline.
Warkworth is about one mile to the south, with its own beach, several pubs, a historic church, Post Office and village store, cafe's, gallery and famous 15th Century castle.
Alnmouth is three miles to the north and has a very popular sandy beach, village store, church, gallery and a number of pubs/restaurants/cafe's.
The traditional North East fishing port of Amble is three miles away and boasts a boardwalk pier, family friendly beach, an ice cream parlour, restaurants, cafes and a great playground.
The market town of Alnwick is five miles to the west and has a number of supermarkets and a leisure centre with an excellent modern swimming pool.
