Walkers and cyclists will love the proximity to Northumberland National Park (3 miles), with its heather-covered hills, wildlife, and clear skies for stargazing in this International Dark Sky Park. History and film fans won’t want to miss Alnwick Castle (18 miles), the stately home of the Duke of Northumberland and a filming location for Harry Potter. Spend the day at Alnmouth (20 miles) to enjoy its glorious beach, or visit Craster (21.5 miles) for delicious fresh seafood.
You can either step through the front door and into this welcoming countryside home, or head in via the garage/boot room, where you can kick off muddy boots after a day of exploring.
