"I surprised my partner with a weekend getaway for his birthday to this little cabin. Even though it rained all weekend, we loved every second here. The covered/screened in porch made it still possible to sit outside, and the view waking up in the morning was just so pretty. The super long driveway was nice to take a walk down as well. Perfect place to unwind. It was clean, and comfortable."

"This was the perfect cabin for our weekend stay! We had everything we needed. Very quiet area (at least in mid February), wood fireplace was so cozy and everything worked great and was clean. We visited the pool and hot tub at The Woods center was relaxing (you are given each a one day pass). Great hiking trails with awesome views!! Loved it we will be back."

"We stayed for a quick last minute getaway. Lots of value for the price. The house was well stocked with necesseties and mostly clean. It could use a more regular deep clean as the windwsills by the kids bed had old bugs, cobwebs on some decor and under the couch trundle bed was very dirty. There wasnt wifi and the number that was left for us couldnt be used on the house phone. None of this hindered our stay though. "This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!"

Quiet cabin in the woods, great for family of 4
"The hosts and staff were lovely, the cabin was in a quiet forest full of mature 80 foot high trees. We loved the salt water pool. Our two teenagers enjoyed the game room in the main lodge. The restaurant was very well kept and inviting, with window views of the forest or the lake. We had a few minor complaints - the fridge in our room smelled like rotten fish. We chose to wait until check out to let them know since we didn’t put much in there. And the jacuzzi or hot tub were not functional, big bummer! Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would come again! "
