Beautiful accomodation

Our first time visiting the UK! This lovely cottage was the perfect location from which to experience one of the jewels of the Cotswolds. The stairs to the bedrooms need to be navigated with care; all else was super comfy.

Beautiful Cotswolds

It wasn't a great start as the previous couple decided not to check out and had gone off for the day! This made our check in later than expected and we weren't able to get changed to meet family for dinner. Lovely cottage but have to say that the upstairs door needs oiling, there were only 4 hangers in the whole property and all of the beds were uncomfortable. There are little things that could make it a better stay. Overall though, we had a lovely 5 days and the location was perfect!

Fabulous family getaway!

We had such a lovely few days in Moreton-in-Marsh! Being able to take my children to a place that means so much was wonderful and Cobblers Cottage was the perfect accommodation for us. We came on the train and its central location was fantastic; it had everything we needed and was such a wholesome cottage to stay in. They were kind enough to agree to a slightly early check-in to accommodate the children’s nap/food times, so that was extra wonderful. We’ll definitely be back for more exploring of the Cotswolds!

Another lovely holiday at this cottage

Another lovely stay at one of our favourite cottages. Great location and a great cottage full of character. Perfect for a couple with older children. Shame that the heating didn't work properly this time (radiator in bedroom didn't work). The caretaker did get us a fan heater, but no plumber available.

Very nice stay

Everything was fantastic in the Cottage. Location was good as well. I would say that the only inconvenient was that the the top floor room was too hot.

Fabulous stay in Cobblers cottage

2nd visit to this cottage and we loved it. Moreton in Marsh is our favourite place to stay. Great train links too so we had a day in Oxford. Visited Batesford Aboretum and market day and local shops great too. Also had day in Stow. Loved the Manor and we had fabulous weather for March so we were able to sit in their lovely gardens. Cottage so well equipped we ate in on a couple of nights. Fabulous relaxing break thank you. We will be back

A Cotswold gem

My husband and I stayed at Cobblers Cottage for 6 nights recently. This is an old property and full of character. Squeaky floors, narrow steps, beams, huge fireplace, thick walls, Cotswold stone. We loved it! Great location. We traveled by train, and, going the most direct way, it took around 7-8 minutes to walk. Plenty of room for the two of us. We would happily stay here again, and, since we love the Cotswolds, we might very well try to do so. Highly recommend.

Me and my friend had an amazing time at this cottage. Moreton in marsh was lovely and the local villages were beautiful too. The cottage was super clean and the bed was really comfortable. For the price we paid it was absolutely amazing !!

Cozy Cottage

Cobbler’s Cottage small but cozy. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is close to the bus stops and train station so it was easy to get around the Cotswolds. It has very steep stairs up to the second and third floor, so if you have mobility issues this place might be a problem for you.

Cobblers Cottage- Superb!

Lovely cottage, well presented, clean and extremely cosy, tea&coffee provided, & a pint of milk in the fridge! Located just 1 min walk from the main high street of Moreton in Marsh. The ample book & DVD selection on the shelves was great for the time spent indoors.

Perfect stay for Cotswolds Visit

This cute little cottage is just a short walk from the train station. It is across the street from the beautiful church. All was as expected in terms of cleanliness, comfort and peaceful. Kitchen has all the essentials. Market close by. Stairs were steep and not safe for people with mobility issues but for us were manageable. Great restaurants near by.

Lovely Cottage

Cottage with a lot of character and lovely main bedroom, with attached bath. Our two daughters slept in the loft up some steep windy spiral stairs. Very convenient for catching the bus to Stow, Bourton, Chipping Campden, etc. Beds were comfy and kitchen had most things that we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Ancient Cobblers Cottage with Original Features and Glorious Fireplace

We loved the FIRE when it was really cold, the ancient feel of this little cottage, the well-equipped kitchen and everything sparking clean in the kitchen. We appreciated having downstairs and upstairs toilets and the spacious master bedroom. Sunshine in the mornings through the lounge windows as we breakfasted was a treat. But it is the location we loved the most... local Church Bells chiming, Cotswold Stone cottages everywhere and easy walk to great pubs, tea houses and High Street.

Mark

Cobbler’s Cottage was exactly the kind of Cotswold experience we were looking for! Honey-colored Cotswold stone walls, exposed beams, moonlit views of chimney tops from the comfortable beds. All too perfect! Its proximity to the Moreton-in-Marsh train station, numerous pubs and shops made it an ideal spot for our “home base”. Thank you for sharing!!

Lovely cosy cottage with some reservations

Perfect base for a ramble in the countryside. We stayed as a couple so did not use the second bedroom. Location is excellent, short walk to high street with all amenities. Cottage was cozy and comfortable. A few details that could improve the stay: cottage could use a deep clean (lots of cobwebs in corners); no TV antenna so only DVDs available; a starter pack of firewood provided, but was damp; and overall cottage could use a refresh to restore it to the condition pictured on the website.

From the USA to Moreton in Marsh

We strayed from the 9th of December to the 16th of December. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of quirks I think it’s important to read about them in the description so you know what to expect! It’s close to everything in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive. The train station is 10 min walk with acesss to London. We are at every pub in town and did not have a bad meal. The 801 bus got us to stow on the wold and burton on the water. Broadway is a 16 min drive and is also beautiful. All the villages were decorated beautifully and it all felt christmassy and very festive. We would stay again!

Cotswolds holiday

The location of Cobblers Cottage is excellent and within walking distance of the Main Street where there are lots of pubs/restaurants and shops, there is also a little park to the right which is great if you have a dog as we did. The cottage itself is smaller than it looks in the photos and is painted a horrible blue colour throughout rather than cream on the photos, the stairs are very steep which we knew beforehand which was ok for us but if you have any mobility problems then this cottage is not for you. The bedroom door does not open properly at the top of the stairs because of the bed , the bedrooms are very nice, though I think the bed could do with a new mattress . We weren’t in the cottage very much as we were out and about every day but if we had to spend any length of time in it we would feel on top of each other. It would also nice if there was an information book about the cooker etc and how things work. We probably won’t stay in this cottage again as it definitely needs some TLC though the location is excellent
