"Very nice clean property. Nice room and bathroom. Checkin staff very nice and helpful. Very good breakfast. The only drawback was no AirCon."

"This place is the perfect stay for a few days if you are traveling solo or with a partner or friends. The building is old but it does have an elevator that works but it’s small. You’ll need to check in at the Tannenhof hotel that is basically next to it, the staff was amazing. They did speak Spanish & English. Very clean, very accessible to places like sunnegga - rothon station at 7 mins by walking. Restaurants & Souvenirs shops are literally less than a 5mins walk. The breakfast options are very limited but good quality food. The only downside is the Alpina hotel doesn’t have air conditioner in the room. I enjoyed my stay here and recommend to those who want explore Zermatt and the Matterhorn."

"Next to the train station and very convenient. Beautifully decorated and felt new. The hotel itself is cozy, quiet and upscale. Room is spacious and bright. Good linens. Comfortable bed. Pillows are too soft for me. Wish there were hair conditioner. The balcony is large. Breakfast buffet has great selections and a few more things that are made to order. Enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend it."

"Perfect location, wonderful staff with great recommendations. Very clean great continental breakfast. Their small grassy Biergarten offers great views of Matterhorn…open your window at night and go to sleep from the babbling brook that traverses the center of Zermatt."
