"No elevator to bring the luggages to the 4th floor. No AC just a little fan. We had to sleep with the windows all opened without screen and place the little fan in the window to have some fresh air. Bathroom is also pretty small. We were ok but won’t book there if I return."

"The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. The hotel is absolutely serious about wanting you to contact them before you arrive to confirm your arrival time although the email they sent to me had no return email address. "My wife and I stayed in August 2025. We learned that there was recently new management. The staff we met we all very helpful and friendly. It was perfect for us looking to go hiking but with a comfortable place to rest and recoup after a long day walking. Morning breakfast was also very good. We would come back again and look forward to seeing what changes the new management makes going forward."
"This was a pleasant surprise for us. The room was spacious and nicely renovated. The house is pretty full with flowers. The breakfast was served to us formally. All in all it was a great experience. We enjoyed it very much."

"Beautiful property, clean warm and cozy in the winter snow! We came from Florida to ski in Grachen and Zermatt and the quaint villages and ski resorts did not disappoint. Also great communication from the owner and property manager. I don’t believe the property is hard to find if you’re from the area, but being from Florida it was quite a challenge finding it when we first arrived. It would have been easier for us to know to go up the road from the Niedergrachen bus stop and take the 2nd long driveway on the left. Hublen is not the name of a street as we had thought. Also, the “hill” was more like a cliff being from a cliff"
