"Stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. They set up a taxi to take us from the airport to their accommodations. Upon arrival staff was helpful and hanged on to our luggage until our room was ready! We ordered some drinks and chilled by the pool. They helped bring our luggage’s into the room and we felt right at home. The water worked perfectly fine, the AC was brisk cold and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the bar could improve as they didn’t have several things on the menu, and food was slightly slow coming out. I did however really enjoy the ceviche and pina colada. I love how it felt more like an apartment with the amenities of a hotel. We were close to El Zonte and El Tunco. I would definitely return here. Big shoutout to the staff for trying their best as we didn’t speak Spanish and they spoke limited English! I must add, the vibe at night by the bar/pool is unmatched!"

"To be honest this was better than I expected. I truly recommend it. Breakfast was great, they have a few options if you mind eating the same thing every day. I almost didn’t book my stay here, but I decided to not let those bad comments get me. I got to see how people complain literally for nothing and being rude for no reason. Staff was great, it was clean and I was happy with breakfast."

"Our stay at Cinco Hotel was phenomenal from start to finish. We were warmly greeted on arrival and personally escorted to our room, which set the tone for excellent hospitality. The room was comfortable with great AC, a TV for watching the World Cup, and ample storage including a fridge. The in-room safe was small but fine for passports and valuables. The restaurant downstairs was a highlight. We ate there 3–4 times. The cocktail menu was excellent, especially the blanco sangria. The beef tacos were our favorite, along with shrimp tacos and shrimp Alfredo pasta, which they kindly split into two portions with a side salad. Prices were very reasonable, and the on-site health food store was a bonus. They also graciously stored our luggage after checkout when we had a tour. Breakfast (7:30–11:00 AM) was fantastic - we had fresh pupusas and the yogurt with strawberries and bananas. The location is very walkable with great nearby dining. Brutto at Bambú City Center felt Michelin-level, El Xolo was excellent upscale dining, and The Bunker Bar was fun. Overall, Cinco Hotel is a lush, peaceful oasis in the city with great service, food, and location. Highly recommend and would absolutely return."
