The weather at Bear Lake can be unpredictable so...Weather-proof your vacation! The Gathering House was built for group gatherings in Bear Lake. It includes a PRIVATE heated indoor pool with 18 person hot tub! .There are tons of recreation activities in the valley and we're just 20 minutes drive to North Beach at beautiful Bear Lake!

Having a reunion? Group gathering? We've got you covered! The Great Room is perfect for group meals, game nights, movie nights with 120" projector image. Designed as a fully flexible space to meet the needs of your large group.

You'll enjoy 4 private family bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with a shared vanity space, a full kitchen, and laundry. Extra sleeping options are available with 10 adult-sized cots you can set up in common areas.

We have a large yard with space for your activities or lawn games, Make meals using the on-site grill, and huddle up around the fire pit. You provide the marshmallows, we'll provide the roasting sticks!

About the pool room....this pool-only room at the back of the house is secured by mutiple safety features including being fully lockable. The large heated indoor pool with turbo twister slide and 18 person spa keeps you playing even if the weather changes. We think you'll love it!

Perfect in every way

It's beautifully set up for large groups. Bedrooms tucked away and a large open gathering space. Laurel was awesome coming to give me a tour and show me how to use all the things like the pool and projector. We loved the sunsets out the back with the horses. Everything was organized and labeled well.

This place has everything you need

We had a 29 person family reunion. We had plenty room to feed all of us! The pool was amazing! Laurel has thought of everything- instant pot, crock pot, plenty of cooking and serving items. There is a an electric fan and laundry bag in each room! Stay here- you won't be disappointed! We loved our stay!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!

This property, appropriately named The Gathering House, was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The spacious great room combined the kitchen, dining area, living room and relaxing area to let everyone do their own thing yet all be together to enjoy each other’s company. The bedrooms were perfect for those with young kids. The large pool with slide was the highlight for everyone. Also, the beautiful landscaping was a great backdrop for our family photos. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Best family gathering place!

We gathered together for a family reunion, and this pool house was so much fun to stay in! We loved swimming with our kids for hours in the pool at a time, loved the water slide and pool toys there, the Mickey Mouse theme, the pool shower, the plentiful wig fresh towels to use, etc. The layout of the house was so strategically designed for large families to come and swim and play. We loved the 3 bathrooms in a row, the game drawers, the doll house and toys, the organized kitchen, and we loved the beautiful campfire pit in the front yard for s’mores and the playground in the backyard. Our host was so kind, loving, helpful, and happy we had a great family time. We will definitely be gathering there again!

Perfect for our family reunion!

This place was great - even better than it looked in the pics. The safety features of the pool made it stress-free, even though we have littles in the group. The main room was spacious and there were extra folding picnic tables provided so we had plenty of seating for meals. Plenty of parking space, great bedrooms, close to Bear Lake, wonderful hostess. It was perfect!

Perfect getaway!

A Great Place for a Large Family Reunion

Laurel was prompt, practical and nice to work with. Her Vrbo was perfect for our family reunion of 28 – 10 adults and 18 children, most under 8 years of age. An extra plus was the lush green grass in both the front and back yards. One of our daughters noted, “The pictures don’t do it justice.”

Fantastic

We loved the house. The AC works great on hot days. The children made great use of the pool. We like the safety features of having codes on the doors and an automatic pool cover. The pictures do not do it justice everything is better than you expect. Thank you for the home and excellent communication and service.

Fun Family Time

Our family loves staying at this property. This is our third year. The layout is very family-friendly. We love that the swimming pool is just off of the big great room. It is easy to keep an eye on the pool and yet have great interactions going on in the great room at the same time. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and laundry room are well-supplied to meet all our needs. The owners are great people to work with. They are very personable and helpful. As one of our little grandsons says, "When do we get to go back to the 'Christmas Cabin'"? It is one of our favorite destinations for fun family time.

Had a great time at this rental.

Loved the open floor concept, indoor pool and slide. Had fin with the piano/organ. Wish there was at least 1 more bedroom. Wish there was a bathroom in the pool area so people wouldn’t get the general area floor wet. But overall loved it and would most likely rent it again.

Perfect!

We really can’t say enough good about the entire experience! Pictures cannot capture the reality. The pool was a treat with a shower in the pool area complete with shampoo, conditioner and gel all attached to the wall. I wish they showed a floor plan so you could see how wonderfully laid out the entire property is. So many amenities! Tech savvy and wonderful! Extra Mile hosts in every respect!!

Fun house

The house was very nice and the pool was excellent. The beds were not made for 70 yr olds and the home could use air conditioning. We also needed a pair of scissors in the kitchen. The bathroom area was excellent for the big group of girls we had.

Fun Family Gathering Place

The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool. Large open kitchen area for fixing meals and additional tables so everyone can sit down for eating or activities. Close to the North Shore of Bear Lake.

Safe property for all ages

The perfect family vaca house! We had everything we needed which made our stay with toddlers to teens very enjoyable. So many safety features for the pool area made it easy for me to relax. Everyone in our group loved our stay!

A pleasant and relaxing

What a great time we all had. The littles went to bed each night after a day of swimming and playing, saying, "best day ever!" The place was stocked with all the amenities we needed, and then some. Shooting range for target practice and the golf course were some activities we participated in and they were all close by. Thank you so much to our beautiful and gracious hostess, Laurel Jensen for your help in making this a positive and memorable experience!
