"Good location, very nice pool, and host, who lives on site, has very good English and is more than happy to assist. Property itself suffered a number of faults whilst we were there however. Village has bar, restaurant and shop and more facilities are in next village 4 km away. Good base to explore the Var region and less than 1.5 hours from Nice."

The villa was cosy and welcoming and perfect for people wanting to explore local villages, markets and vineyards. Roy was a great host, very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. "This is a fantastic villa, well equipped for a comfortable stay in a stunning location. We really enjoyed the area - swimming and paddle boarding in the lake and cycling. Bauduen is a small village, very pretty with restaurants to enjoy. I really recommend this villa if you like the quiet life - hopefully we will return!"

"I stayed at La Dessalinienne with my parents and my brother's family for a week and we enjoyed it extremely. It is a spacious house that is decorated with great attention to detail and interior design. As a result, it did not feel like an average holiday home at all. It felt like a home, a place where you like to stay. All the necessary amenities are also present. "The terrace and pool has a lovely view - we are going to miss this. The pool area is very nice and the pool has a shallow end perfect for kids. The small town is nearby, the restaurant is great but it was only open for lunch. The only downside is the master bedroom is located in the other end of the house where the toilet is."
