Not the fanciest place (but Monteverde isn’t about fancy), but the place with the most character of all our stays in CR. Friendly staff, family environment, and very communal dining areas conducive to meeting other travellers.

The rooms are very large, with comfortable beds, luxurious robes, scented bath products and a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. The balcony was very nice with a comfy hammock swing to lounge in! The hot tub was most enjoyable too. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. ...

We loved, loved, loved the fireplace. The view was nice. The location was great. It rained mostly while we were there, but we had a great time anyway. Would highly recommend.
