Overall, this house left us wishing we had paid more for a more comfortable stay. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, the house was so rudimentary that every step upstairs was very loud downstairs. The showers didn’t drain as your showered, the sinks don’t have warm water. The plus sides were we were deep the jungle, the host as very responsive, kind and helpful. There was a cool bridge to explore and a pool table in the restaurant area you can use. Unfortunately we did kill two scorpions in the house. Freaky but definitely what you get when you are in the jungle! We loved monte verde downtown. This house just needs a little love to make it more comfortable.
