It is hot in Monterey and when I would return to the room the air would be shut off, not turned down shut off. The Hotel was clean and breakfast was nice. Location you were limited on places to go for dinner.

The Holiday Inn & Suites is ideally located just 3 minutes from the airport — a great option if convenience is your priority. Breakfast is included and starts at 6am, which is perfect for catching an early flight. The rooms are spacious and clean. Note that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations (which have been ongoing for a while) and only has one elevator.

About a 5 min drive from the airport but unfortunately unable to walk there. Rooms were big and breakfast was good. Only downside is there is construction all around and when we asked for change at the front desk they didn’t want to accommodate. Considering most of their guest are traveling they should be able to provide it.

We had a great stay overall. There was some construction on the road leading to the hotel, but it wasn’t difficult to get through and didn’t impact our visit. The hotel was also doing some maintenance inside, but it didn’t interfere with our stay at all. The hallway was a bit warm, but the rooms themselves were clean, nice, and comfortable, which made up for it. We would definitely stay again.

It was okay, but could be better! Only one elevator was running during my stay, which made the rush hours a bit messy! The shower drain in room 815 did not drain adequately, causing water to pool. The breakfast is solid, and the staff's service is very good.

The hotel just has one working elevator, under remodeling wires hanging everywhere. Asked for an extra towel and they did not have any. The only thing I liked was it was close to airport and has shuttle service.
