"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal
spa
pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"Our hostess Virginia greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a tour of her absolutely beautiful apartment. The pictures don’t do it justice!! So modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean!!! The decor was amazing! We loved the not one BUT two patios! So private and inviting. Virginia checked in with us a couple of times and it was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this property for your next visit to Monterenzio/Bologna! Thank you Virginia❤️"

"5*+ rating for this special hotel in Bologna. For my first trip to Italy, my stay at this hotel made the entire experience that much more special. From the moment I checked in, to when I checked out the entire concierge team were welcoming, friendly and gave great tips on what to do and where to go. I was very surprised to have received a room upgrade - west facing, simply the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in and, a gorgeous bathroom with decent water pressure. If I had an extra day to my trip, I would have spent it in the hotel really taking advantage of the bar, lounge and restaurant. Or, just sleeping in - the bed was that comfortable. When I return to Bologna, I will only stay at Savhotel Aemilia."
