XIV Century Nest in Ancient Palagio - Montecatini Alto

Delightful and Romantic Nest on the hills of Val Di Nievole. Located in the ancient Palazzo Podestarile, former home of Cosimo I De Medici, it was among the few buildings to survive during the devastating destruction of 1554.

Pleasant walks, the 1899 funicular to reach the Montecatini spa, great cuisine in the busiest and liveliest square of all the surroundings. Ice creams and refreshments. Restaurants for all types of customers.

A truly typically Tuscan and traditional breath before returning to the great art destinations. 40 minutes from Florence, 30 from Lucca, 15 from Pistoia, and 50 minutes from Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta.. On the Florence-Mare motorway.
