Nice cabin just in front of a peacful river. Immersed in nature but still within driving distance to cool city activities (check out downtown Staunton and Devil's Backbone Brewery). Would stay here again!

Great place for couples to stay

The cabins are great for couples. My wife and I had a great weekend here. If you are looking for a place to out away from things and quiet then I recommend it.

The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!

Jerry reached out after I checked in to make sure everything went ok and he asked if I needed anything. The cabin was in such a serene setting and I was able to unwind while I was there. Will definitely go back in the future!

Gorgeous retreat

We loved the cabin. Location is remote and the cabin fronted a section of the river that was simply beautiful. The cabin is new and so inviting! We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin with all new construction and great amenities. Glamping at its finest. Had some trouble getting here, the directions were a bit unclear but otherwise a wonderful relaxing experience.

Such a perfect place to camp out and relax. The river bed is beautiful and the cabins are clean and always have fresh coffee pods waiting for us! We cannot wait to come back again!

I love staying here

This is the second time my husband & our dogs have stayed here. We love the cabins & the site. The cabin is right next to a relaxing creek; our dog enjoyed it too. I love that we do not have cell phone service, but still had a strong wifi connection for when we wanted it. Lots of trails & things to see nearby. I can't wait to return again & continue to explore.

Perfect!

My partner and I got snowed in at the perfect location! Was nice and cozy and their son lives right down the road and was kind enough to help plow the parking area to make it easier for us. It was the perfect spot for us to get away from a very trying holiday season. Thanks and we will be back!

Nice cabin

It was a very nice and clean cabin by the creek. Wish all 4 cabins had the same covered porches and wish they were spread out a little more but still very welcoming. They’re not joking about only WiFi, we lost power our second night and it was a very bare minimal experience.

Weekend Getaway

If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in the wilderness, THIS IS IT!! The cabins are in fact new and have all the necessities as well as luxuries. The cabin was very clean, and the outside was well kept. When they say that firewood is provided, they mean it! Plenty of firewood for you to relax outside and unwind. Owners communication is great and can be contacted easily if need be. Would definitely stay again!!

Very cute cabins, perfect for a few days away. We found the cabin was well equipped with the basics, and we had no problem cooking our Thanksgiving dinner here. We brought our dog and our 8 month old, both who enjoyed the cabin very much (there’s plenty of room in the bedroom for a pack n play). While the cabins are close together, they are angled so you don’t really see your neighbors, even when you’re outside enjoying the fire pits. We didn’t have cell service but there was very strong WiFi so had no issues. We would definitely book again!
