Water Front Property with Lake Access & Boat Dock

"The property was very well decorated and well equipped. There was a very nice porch with wonderful views that we used frequently, although it was very warm so we did use the awnings. I wasn’t prepared for the narrow, windy and sometimes sharp curves, so driving conditions were not easy for visitors like us. I should have realized this. Once we parked our car we never moved it until we left. We got around using the bus and the ferries. We had a full size SUV because there were 4 of us and we all had 1 piece of luggage and a small backpack so couldn’t get a smaller vehicle. The local people just took it in stride and weren’t the least bit concerned-they were very careful, but when 2 buses met going in opposite directions there were inches between us! You should be aware that there are quite a few steps down to the units, but the stairway was in great shape and very safe. I would suggest that if you’re driving to Nesso to stop in Como and stock up on any groceries you may want-there was a very small store with limited supplies that was within walking distance. We did go to Briisa on 3 occasions which was a restaurant within walking distance and very good. Most of the time we had a great lunch or early dinner when we were out exploring the area. Summer time was very busy and very hot. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property."

"We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. It’s well located, comfortable, and just right for a couple of days respite. We enjoyed the terrace so much. I would definitely recommend. Perhaps not if you are particularly tall. The slanted ceilings and expose beams can be tricky, but I loved the character of the place. Our host gave helpful recommendations and made reservations for us as well. We would definitely return."

The accommodation was very comfortable and the views from the balcony were breathtaking! Very responsive and genuine hosts. We would definitely stay again."

"This hotel was a complete surprise! The setting overlooking Lake Como and the surrounding mountains was spectacular! We couldn’t get enough of our balcony view and our breakfast on the Terrace each morning. The staff was amazing! It’s a quiet, family run hotel which was perfect for us. Though we booked for one night, we stayed three nights!"
