"This house was very spacious and clean. We loved eating out on the terrace and enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. The house stayed cool by using the window shutters and ceiling fan. The kids loved having a pool. The property is beautiful and the extensive guidebook was very helpful. The host was friendly and responsive. This was one of the favorite places that the family stayed at during our 2 week trip in Europe and we hope to return someday."

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they put so much care and effort into making the place a special experience for every guest. One of our party members had an urgent need for a prescription, and without hesitation, the host drove them to the doctor and even took them to the pharmacy to pick up the medication. "Superb stylish villa with wonderful gardens and pool. Remote control gates added a great feel of security. Table under the pergola was superb for taking meals. We cooked outside all the time as the Bbq was excellent and the local shops, especially the Sigma, had a great variety of meat and a seafood counter where we bought squid and prawns etc. There is a larger Esselunga supermarket on John F Kennedy in Lido di Camaoire but once we discovered the Sigma there was no need to return. We would greatly recommend the Ristorante Antipasteria Katia Montebello on the end of Via Grotto just a few minutes walk from the Villa. We went there twice as the food and service was so good. We would recommend the villa for those wanting a home away from home experience - well appointed, extremely clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels (including pool towels) supplied. Within easy driving distance of Lido Di Camaiore for the beach, Pietrasanta, Pisa and Lucca for sightseeing and shopping . Our hosts Donatella and her son Gabriel were very courteous with good communication."

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow but traffic is generally very light so you I'd recommend not renting an SUV as it makes it much more challenging to pass other cars at points. "
