Es un pequeño hotel de una zona poco desarrollada y un turismo diferente si lo que buscas es lujo no es el sitio indicado pero es rico en historia fauna marina y aves así como un paseo por los manglares y la isla cabrito un rico chapuzón en una playa en medio del mar, si quieres darte una escapada real y tener una aventura a los típicos resortes este es el lugar...ah se me olvidaba comida típica lindera en el restaura Cocomar a menos de 10 min caminando un placer gastronómico de una cocina que se quedó detenida en la mente y nos recuerda el sabor de la abuela..si se animan a ir disfrutenlo

Cute little hotel on the beach

Enjoyed my stayed in this cute little resort-style hotel. My only complaint is that the room walls are paper thin.

Very Bad Experience - Not Recommended /

I travel from another country to Santiago Airport and from Santiago I went to Montecristi (2 hours from the airport). So after I long day travelling, I was hoping to be able to rest at the hotel. When I arrive to "El Cayito Hotel", they couldn't find my reservation. Luckily, I'm always prepare, so I show them my reservation printed from the expedia website and I also show them my reservation on the expedia phone app. They make a few calls and tells out that their room were full. We ask them for another options near, I they didn't give us any. The front desk lady, makes other call to her manager to ask them one more time for another option. We were a group of 4. They ended up offering us 2 separate room, not close to each other, and one of they tell us that the bathroom of 1 of the room was damage. The manager didn't apologize and they didn't even try to offer a discount for the damage bathroom and for the bad experience. We ended up leaving right away and we walked down on the road for a little be until we find another hotel to stay. NOT RECOMMEDED AT ALL. Now I need to find out that my card didn't got charge from them.

Refused accommodation

We arrived durn hurricane Erika and the hotel refused to check us in. We booked through hotels.com and the hotel told us when we got there that we had to pay to get the room that the booking was only to hold the room and that the card was not charged. We did not have enough cash and they said they didn't accept credit cards so we could not check in. Now the hotel was paid for but they aimed it wasn't. End of storey we paid hotels.com and then were refused accommodation when we arrived at the hotel. And during a hurricane no less.

grazioso albergo a due passi dal mare

l{hotel era molto carino, l'aria fresca ed anche di giorno si poteva stare bene tra le amache all{ombra e l{uso della piscina, la piscina era un po{ affollata nel fine settimana da uomini e ragazzi e bambini cheno sem,ptre rispettavano il dettame di fare la doccia prima di tuffarsi, la sauna non era funzionante, pero{ tutto sommato il soggiorno e stato molto piacevole, segnalo che chi va a monte cristi non si aspetti la spiaggia come obiettivo ma la cosapiu interessante e sicuramnete la natura eil mare dove si incontra una barriera corallina incontaminata.
