"Pros: 1. 10 Steps from the bakery ( very easy breakfast ) 2. 5 Steps to the grocery store - The food in the village gets a bit old due to lack of variety. Grocery trip was essential. 3. Very easy to park (we booked one week with one park parking garage under Arc 1950. They had our name on a list and told us what level to park on. We then could take the elevator right up to reception. This is fantastic if the weather is unfavorable.) 4. Complimentary Laundry room ( Bring your own soap. There was 1 Washer / 3 Dryers. Drying strings in both showers) Cons: 1. The kitchen well appointed with mini appliances. There were a few cooking utensils missing but overall good. (spatula) 2. 4 teas and 2 coffee pods provided, would have been nice to have more in the room given we were booked for 6 days. 3. Mid week fresh towels would have been nice. We just used the same towels, but this would have been a nice perk. 4. The beautiful cave looking pool was in a building at the other end of the village - in a spa. This was not available to us unless you paid for kids / adult entry or had a spa appointment. The hot tub outside reception was not warm and then the net day totally drained and had cover on. We saw no one use the pool. "

"Positives: Location next to a forest which is perfect for dog walks. I received a room upgrade, which was a nice touch. Negatives: The spa area did not feel very hygienic. If you only plan to use the sauna it might be fine but I wouldn’t recommend the rest. The hotel is a bit further from the center and ski lifts. It’s not far but you definitely notice it when carrying heavy luggage or skis. Breakfast had quite limited options, with no warm food available (unless you boil eggs yourself). Staff were generally helpful, although I had one strange experience where they refused to provide fresh towels on one day for no reason. There is no elevator, so you will need to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs yourself. Overall: Overall, I would say the hotel is suitable if you have fairly standard requirements. However, if you have more specific needs (e.g. traveling with dogs, children, or requiring early check-in), I would not recommend. "

"Fantastic place, really friendly staff, excellent room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place."

"Hotel tres bien situé, au coeur du vieux Bourg Saint Maurice. Personnel accueillant et chambre confotable et tres propre. Petit dejeuner complet, dommage pour le bon pain absent le dimanche matin (boulangerie fermee). Possibilité de manger aussi au petit restaurant attenant à l hotel, la Ruelle. C est egalement un bel avantage. Pas de parking, tout est payant a Bourg, il faudrait que la ville offre des possibilités aux hoteliers de facilité l acces à leurs clients. En tout cas je recommande l hotel. Merci encore de votre accueil!"

"the apartment was as described, very well located, as equipped as you want it to be, and as clean as expected..All the communication in preparation, the quick check in and check out has been fluid.Definetly a recommended address for a large group of skiers ... but not only, as the evening view from the terrace is bringing the added value to all the rest described. "

"Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce magnifique chalet.Un chalet très pratique, grand, propre, agréable pour tous.L'accès au funiculaire se fait facilement et en quelques minutes. Nous avons pu profiter des pistes tout en logeant dans un endroit calme et apaisant.L'accueil doit aussi être particulièrement souligné.Merci à Gilles et Christiane d'avoir guidé notre arrivée, d'avoir été très accueillants et à l'écoute lors de notre séjour, merci pour leur flexibilité."
