"My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

It is an easy walk to the walled town of Lucca, has fabulous rural views from the balcony, is homely with helpful reading material, and we enjoyed it being cool inside when the days were hot. Our hosts explained everything to us when we arrived and we’re always available by phone or text. A great place to stay."

"The morning of our stay (May 27), which I had booked and paid for on January 24, I realized I had not received check in procedures. When i messaged the host he/she messaged back that the apartment was booked that night and they didn’t know why I was allowed to book it. They did refund my purchase, but we were left scrambling for accommodations that night and it was pretty stressful."

"This is a beautiful property out of the busyness of Florence. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the valley where you are perched on the side of a hill. Although it was too cold to use the pool it would be a great addition to any stay during the warmer months. There is a bit of a drive but we’ll worth it.
